Learn More about the Power of Your Vehicle

You have probably heard of the term "horsepower" before. It is used to describe just how powerful a lot of machines are. It is used to tell us how powerful our cars are and how powerful our lawn mower is. One horsepower is about the same amount of power as a pony hauling 33,000 foot-pounds of work in just one minute.

Horsepower is a way to give you an idea of how powerful a vehicle is but you need to get into the driver's seat to really feel just how powerful a vehicle is. Of course, the more horsepower under the hood, the more powerful it's going to be. James Watt came up with the term horsepower to be able to communicate just how much power there is on our machines.

Come see us here at Beford Ford Lincoln so that we can get you into a powerful vehicle for a test drive.
